From 8 to 13 July Georgy Tchaidze gave a series of concerts at the Lofoten International Chamber Music Festival in Norway. There are only a few halls here so the concerts take place in a number small churches on several islands.
Tchaidze shared the stage with Ingrid Fliter (piano), Torbjørn Gulbrandsøy (tenor), Juliet Jopling (viola) and the Engegård Quartet. The programme of his performance included pieces by Arensky, Liszt, Strauss, Dohnanyi, Grieg, Clarke and Chopin.

The Lofoten International Chamber Music Festival started in 2004. Since 2014 the brand new Lofoten Piano Festival has alternated with the Lofoten International Chamber Music Festival every second year. Hailed as the “world’s most beautiful music festival”, The Chamber Music Festival presents some of the finest musicians and ensembles every summer on the second week of July.
